GREY WEATHER AND A SENSE OF LOSS
It was a drizzly Friday evening, the 13th of Novemer, that my dear cat passed away. I don't normally believe in superstition, but now I am not so sure.

HE HAS ALSO SET ETERNITY IN THE HEARTS OF MEN
i have a hypothesis
that
we possess all knowledge
before it is even taught
it simply took
one person
to put it into words
we know it all
inside of us
it just took us
to understand
at a point in time
but when we transcend
the dimension of time
all will be made known
afterall
we are spirit beings
breathed into by the Almighty
the breath of life
the sense of eternity
the knack for knowledge
the search for love
the quest for something greater
transcend
we are on a journey
seeking for truth
search for a paradise
we know it all
somehow
it was calling
from inside
it beckoned
we needed to go somewhere
we wanted something
there was another
it called
there was a home
we belonged
we wanted to go there
somehow
we strove
to where?
we answered
as many questions as possible
yet the path
is a narrow one
will we make it?
only a few do
it is hard
do we want to make it?
we ignore the question
but somehow
we still travel the journey
even though
some of us have forgotten
what the journey was all about
that
we possess all knowledge
before it is even taught
it simply took
one person

THE ONLY WAY TO EAT ICE CREAM
is snacked a little at a time, straight from the fridge, scraped into wafer-thin slices with a spoon, left to melt between the tongue and palate, and savoured slowly.

WHEN DEEP CALLS UNTO DEEP
when deep calls unto deep
there I find peace
there I find release
where meaning is made known
and knowledge becomes unity
time is as a dream
and space has no bounds
no more questions
all is understood
I am in equilibria
when deep calls unto deep
my heart leaps
prances
dances
for I know my name
it is being called
there I find peace
there I find release
where meaning is made known
and knowledge becomes unity
time is as a dream
and space has no bounds
no more questions
all is understood
I am in equilibria
when deep calls unto deep
my heart leaps
prances
dances
for I know my name
it is being called

HIDE NOTHING
As radical as it may sound, hiding nothing, to the point of perilous truthfulness, may actually be more wise than foolish.
Honesty is the best policy, they say. When there is nothing to hide, there is nothing to fear. Now, one could think of many a complicated instance where things were better left hidden. I beg to differ. Although it is easier said than done, blatant honesty tinged with cunning innocence gets things done way better. An accusation cannot be held against a blameless man.
Transparency casts no shadow; where light permeates, darkness shrinks away.
